What is Nwiro.ai?+
An AI assistant suite for Unreal Engine 5, currently in alpha.
Which Unreal Engine versions are supported?+
Nwiro AI Pro is supported by Unreal Engine 5.6+ and AI Integration Kit is supported by Unreal Engine 5.5+. The plugin is distributed via Fab.
Who owns the content I generate with Nwiro?+
You do. Nwiro uses your own meshes and your own prompts, so the resulting scenes and edits belong to you. We claim no ownership over your outputs.
Can I use Nwiro outputs in commercial projects?+
Yes, including games, films, ads, and arch-viz, provided the underlying meshes' licenses allow it.
Who is responsible for the licenses of the meshes used?+
You are. Nwiro only arranges assets already in your project, so the EULAs of marketplace or third-party assets apply as they normally would.
Do you train your models on my prompts or assets?+
No. Your project content is not used for model training.
Where is my data stored?+
Nwiro services are hosted in Türkiye and Germany. By using Nwiro, you consent to data being processed in those locations.

Questions about the Nwiro Pro subscription and features.
How does Environment Generation work?+
It reads your prompt, picks meshes from your own Content Browser, and places them into your level, with layering, density, and collision avoidance handled automatically.
What does the AI Agent do?+
It's an agentic in-editor assistant that can actually build and modify your project, not just answer questions. It creates and edits Blueprints, wires materials, manages actors and levels, controls PIE, authors animations and sequences, debugs with auto-fix, and handles systems like Niagara, GAS, PCG, landscape, and foliage. All powered by native C++ MCP endpoints, no Python or bridges.
What kinds of tasks can the AI Agent handle?+
Pretty much anything you'd do in the editor. Blueprint creation and editing, material graphs, actor and level management, animation and Sequencer work, Niagara VFX, GAS setup, PCG graphs, landscape and foliage, navigation, networking properties, and more. It can also debug Blueprints, analyze asset dependencies, and run validation checks.
How do I install the plugin?+
Download it from Fab or Cosmos, add it to your UE5 project, and sign in with your Nwiro account.
Can I edit the generated scene afterwards?+
Not directly for now, but you can iterate as many times as you want, refining the scene conversationally ("less trees," "more ground variety") until it matches what you're looking for.
How long does a generation take?+
Usually a couple of minutes, depending on scene complexity and queue load.
Is there a limit to scene size or mesh count?+
Generation scales with the content in your project. For very large scenes, we recommend iterating in smaller passes for best results.

Questions about the Integration Kit, adapters, and MCP setup.
What versions of Unreal Engine are supported?+
Nwiro Integration Kit requires Unreal Engine 5.6 or later. It also requires the following plugins to be enabled in your project: Procedural Content Generation Framework (PCG), Python Editor Script Plugin, Web Browser Widget, Enhanced Input, Editor Scripting Utilities, Niagara, State Tree, IK Rig, and Pose Search. These are automatically enabled when you install and enable the Nwiro Integration Kit plugin.
Do I need an internet connection to use Nwiro Integration Kit?+
Yes. An active internet connection is required for all AI-powered features. Your prompts are sent to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic for Claude Code, OpenAI for Codex CLI, or whichever provider your MCP client uses, such as Cursor or Windsurf) and processed remotely.
What is the technical difference between the Nwiro Integration Kit and Nwiro Pro?+
The Nwiro Integration Kit provides a perpetual license for foundational tools like Blueprint, Material, and UI generation, AI-powered bug fixing, and connects to Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, Windsurf, or any MCP-compatible client. Nwiro Pro is a subscription/credit-based tier for power users and studios. It includes everything in the Integration Kit, plus Advanced Biome Generator (via PCG Graph Generation), Discord support, and access to a much wider array of top-tier LLMs (including Gemini 3.1 Pro, DeepSeek V3.2, Llama 3.3 70B, and more).
Do I need to bring my own API key?+
The Integration Kit itself does not require a Nwiro API key. However, you must have your own account with Anthropic (for Claude Code) or OpenAI (for Codex CLI). Simply sign in to the CLI once and billing is handled through your existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription. If you use Meshy 3D or Tripo 3D extensions, you must provide your own API keys for those services.
What AI adapters are supported?+
Nwiro Integration Kit supports Claude Code (Anthropic) and Codex CLI (OpenAI). You can download and switch between adapters from Settings → Integrations inside the plugin. Additionally, Cursor, Windsurf, or any other MCP-compatible client can connect directly to the embedded MCP server without an adapter. See the Installation Guide for setup.
Which AI models are available?+
Available models depend on your selected adapter. For Claude Code: Opus 4.6 (most capable, 1M context), Sonnet 4.6 (fast and capable), and Haiku 4.5 (fastest). For Codex CLI: GPT-5.4 (flagship), GPT-5.4 Mini (fast and efficient), GPT-5.3 Codex (best for code), and Codex Mini (fine-tuned for CLI). If using an external MCP client such as Cursor or Windsurf, model selection is handled within that client.
What is the difference between Normal Chat and the Extensions?+
By default, the chat acts as a general assistant powered by 209 native C++ tools. It can answer questions, create Blueprints, fix bugs, and execute Editor Commands. Extensions (like the File Editor or 3D Modelers) activate additional capabilities for specific tasks and must be toggled on via the chat dropdown menu.
